Overview
StudyFinder Cyprus respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to students using the directory and to university staff using the portal.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we store your name and email address. When you submit an enquiry to a programme, we store the details you provide (name, email, message) and forward them to the relevant university. When you contact us, we store your message to respond to it.
We also collect limited technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the platform secure and improve the experience.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate the platform, deliver enquiries to universities, respond to support requests, and improve our services. University portal users' details are shared with their institution for account management purposes.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Programme enquiries are shared with the university you contacted. We may share information where required by law or with service providers (such as payment processors) who handle data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Enquiries and contact messages are retained for as long as needed to provide the service and respond to queries.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us through the contact page. Where required by law, we will respond within the applicable timeframe.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information using secure storage and transmission. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.
Contact
If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please reach out through the contact page.
